This medical product is a ready-to-use solution intended for antiseptic and prophylactic treatment of the teats and udders of cows after milking in order to soften and nourish the teat skin and heal skin lesions. Gikor-P visually is made as a clear blue liquid. The drug is released packaged in 1.0; 5.0; 10 or 20 liters in plastic cans and 200 liters each in plastic barrels.
Effectively destroys bacteria on the teat skin surface of the cow's udder and prevents their penetration into the teat canal.
Chlorhexidine (chlorhexidine bigluconate solution) is considered to be the best broad-spectrum antiseptic for external use.
There is no need to remove the worst livestock products — all productive qualities are preserved.
Gikor-P contains chlorhexidine bigluconate [1-6-Di- (parachlorophenyl-guanido) -hexane bigluconate] - 0.2% - as an active ingredient, and as excipients: SolanE, glycerin, sorbitol, polyvinylpyrrolidone 15% solution, "Green apple“ essence, methylene blue dye, purified drinking water.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Gikor-P belongs to antiseptic drugs. Chlorhexidine bigluconate effectively destroys bacteria on the teat skin surface of the cow's udder (including pathogens of mastitis: Streptococcus agalactiae, Staphilococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus vulgaris, Enterococcus hirae, etc.) and prevents their penetration into the teat canal.
Gikor-P can be used for antiseptic treatment of the teats of the cow’s udder after milking in order to prevent mastitis.
Apply Gikor-P to the skin of the teats undiluted at the end of milking immediately after removing the milking machine from the udder by completely immersing the teat into the container.
Treatment shall be carried out by completely immersing the teat in a container for at least ¾ of the length or by spraying with a mechanical spray. Use a clean treatment container and spray equipment.
Wipe treatments shall be carried out with napkins dipped in Gikor-P. Wipe the udder and teats with a wet napkin. Use one napkin per animal.
A contraindication to the use of the drug is the individual hypersensitivity of animals to the components of the drug.
